Bank #16 © This size #1 bank is handcrafted from exotic African
Bubinga. The door is a Double Eagle
manufactured by Corbin. It has been completely refurbished for trouble free
operation. Corners of the bank box
have been joined together with a Knapp Joint. Knapp Joints were popular in the late 1800’s as a replacement
for the dovetail joint, but soon lost its appeal due to the time used in
construction. Each bank is coated
with 4 to 5 coats of sprayed lacquer inside and out for a beautiful
finish. Brass coin slots are available
