somewhat rare #1 door was made by the Eagle Lock Co. in the early 1900’s and
can be found on page 114 of Jane Ingram’s Second Edition Illustrated
Guide. The glass is the original
thick flat glass with the original hand painted number on it. The wood used for the cabinet is highly
quilted Big Leaf Maple from the USA, and the trim wood is domestic Black
Walnut. The Joinery used is a corner
post Double Dovetail Joint. This bank
is coated with 5 coats of sprayed lacquer inside and out for a beautiful
