rare hexagon door was made by the Hexagon Postal Box Manufacturing Co. in or
around 1883 and can be found on page 159 of Jane Ingram’s Second Edition
Illustrated Guide. The glass is flat
and the number has been laser etched with a gold tint added to match the
door. The wood used for the cabinet
is figured Black Cherry, Quilted maple, and American Black Walnut. The Joinery used is a double double Box
Joint. This bank is coated with 4
