Bank #B079 © This #2 sized bank was handcrafted from Quilted Big Leaf
Maple, and trimmed with Brazilian Pau Ferro, and Brazilian Wenge. The Eagle
Lock Company made the 1898 Droop Wing Eagle door from Cast Bronze. The window
is the original beveled glass, and the door has been completely refinished
yet maintaining the original patina of the oxidized door. The door is shown
on page 112 of Jane Ingram’s Second Edition Book. The Joinery used is a corner-post double dovetail. This bank is coated with 8 coats of
sprayed lacquer inside and out for a beautiful finish. This bank is more beautiful than pictures
can capture. Nature has done a beautiful job of decorating this piece of maple.
